RESEARCH INTERESTS

Inorganic materials chemistry, catalysis chemistry, including the design, synthesis, characterization and heterogeneous photocatalytic applications of the new solid photocatalysts based on polyoxometalates by using soft chemical processes such as sol-gel, intercalation, and ion-exchange method. The prepared composites mainly included:

(i) Silica/titania composite film materials based on monovacant Keggin-type polyoxometalates, PW₁₁O₃₉^7--SiO₂ (TiO₂), SiW₁₁O₃₉^8--SiO₂ (TiO₂), GeW₁₁O₃₉^8--SiO₂ (TiO₂);

(ii) layered double hydroxide pillared by Paratungstate A ion, Mg₁₂Al₆(OH)₃₆(W₇O₂₄)·4H₂O; lacunary Keggin [SiW₁₁O₃₉Mn(H₂O)]^6- , [SiW₁₁O₃₉Ni(H₂O)]^6- and [SiW₁₁O₃₉]^8- ion; the monosubstituted Dawson [P₂W₁₇O₆₁Mn(H₂O)]^8- ion and the Preyssler [NaP₅W₃₀O₁₁₀]^14- ion.

(iii)Zn/Al/W(Mn) Mixed Oxides via Polyoxometalates Intercalate Layered Double hydroxides.
